Testimonies on the prepaid Visa cards
"My credit sucks. Actually, I don't credit. It's not established, but I would really love to have a credit card. The only thing I'm afraid of however, is getting a card and going over my limit and not being able to pay it off. That would really suck. And I'm too young to have messed up credit. That's why I applied for a prepaid Visa credit card. This way, I get the luxury of a credit card without the hassle of the bill. How much I spend depends on how much I put in my account. It's the best way to spend."

"All I have to say about prepaid Visa credit cards is that they are a great teacher. My teenage daughter goes through money like men on her prom night. She thinks I'm made out of money. I got her a credit card a few years ago and she went over her limit within 8 hours. How do you spend $10,000 in 8 hours with nothing to show for it? From that point I knew I had to teach her a lesson. I took her credit card and gave her one of Visa's prepaid Visa cards. I told her it was an upgrade (Poor child. It's a good thing she's pretty). Now, if she tries to go over a certain amount, it won't let her. Because with prepaid cards you actually put how much money you want to spend on the card. I put a $200 limit. That ought to teach her to budget. If she wants more, let her get a job. I had to teach her credit cards are not toys. Hopefully she'll learn about Visa credit cards. If not, it's at least entertaining for me to watch."
